There was a triple dip for Cardano (ADA) and Polkadot (DOT) on 19th October 2023. This was the most safest time to add funds to crypto-currency. The markets have been going up but I was not comfortable adding new funds after 19th October 2023
According to the link ( https://www.ig.com/en/bitcoin-btc/bitcoin-halving), Bitcoin's Halving may appear in April 2024. Bitcoin halves its mining rewards every 210,000 blocks or so which happens about every 4 years. The last halving happened in May 2020 and the next one may appear in April 2023.
Between now and April 2023 there is a risk of a quadruple bottom happening for ADA, DOT and similar alt coins. After Bitcoin's halving, alt coins may rise rapidly in value. If one wants to add funds, it is safer to add them after April 2024 in case the ETF launch for Bitcoin does not succeed in January 2024
